Billy Graham Central Valley Crusade “Pray” Poster
Several months before Billy Graham would hold a Crusade in a city, a dedicated team worked closely with the local church community to coordinate the huge evangelistic event. To kick off the planning and set a tone for the Crusade, a poster with a localized appeal introduced the Crusade identity and asked for prayer for a successful event. This poster was used in the richly agricultural Central Valley near Fresno, California.
The logo design for the Crusade also uses an agricultural design reminiscent of the branding used on produce crates.
A large hispanic population in the area required a Spanish version as well as English.
